CPA journey to $1000 per month

I have started, stopped, started then stopped IM many times, reason I have bit of ADD and being an engineer I analyze everything and one of the main reason I did not make progress is INFORMATION OVERLOAD.

To overcome above I have decided to log my actions I did for the day and write the goals in ACTIONABLE format as GTD says and implement Pomodro Technique which is put time in 90 minutes block where I will focus just on the actions before my mind drifts. It is extremely hard to keep my focus more than 10 mins straight but I will have to try.

Being an independent person I was not found of my engineering position and left it so I could challenge my self and not take status quo. Recently due to some personal problems I had a cut on my savings. So here I am eating away my savings with challenge to reach $1000 per month. I have no choice but to look front.

The method I would be using is CPA as I tried adsense and I am bit of impatient person. Feel free to pass your comments or provide some tips.

Day 1
- Signed in to Microsoft Adcenter account with coupon
- Went through PPC notes taken during my Adwords certification exams
- Signed up for 7 Search (optional)
- Signed up for Maxbounty and Peerfly
- Researched some niches and still deciding. (any tips on how u guys find out great niches)

For next day or 1st day, i suggest you to build your time frame. the time frame like,
- How long will you achieve this, this 1st part will end until april, then i decided to end or continue with scaling target.
- How much $-$ is my target to be scaled up.
- etc,
You write this time frame, put it in you door. so you always remember and get spirit charging whenever you open the door..

Goodluck! I'm currently studying engineering and I have 2 years to go. Hopefully when I graduate, I will have enough income to not work . I don't really like engineering!

Explored niches in MaxBounty got couple of them - on in health other in finance

Mind Set
As I was working, there was something stopping me a moment of hesitation. I had to find out why, I just could not focus, an apprehension took over me.

I look up in my room & see the book "Making the Courage Connection" (changed the life of Mike Tyson). I flip and I see exercise where you draw three columns Pro | Con | Pro . Write down Pros and cons eventually Pros must outnumber cons which can overcome your doubts and fears.

I got a pump in spirit and it cleared my psyche and I started working on my campaign

I went through notes of Perry Marshall, Adwords, 7 Search tutorials and started keyword researching the niche.

Day 3

Spend sometime going thorough Adwords Fundamentals Tutorials
Went through Gauher Chowdhury Pay Per Click notes
Checked out the landing pages of the niches
Researched if I can copy and modify some better looking ones
Had to attend Microsoft Ctrl+Alt +del conference ( a movie about start ups) & repaired my phone.
Further deep keyword research done. I am 8-10 hours form launching my first campaign.

The begining is the hardest but after you see how the earnings are growing you will like to work

Today was very frustrating day
Was setting up Prosper202 and it took 2 hrs to get it set up due to stupid mistake
Further spent 3 hours on keyword research
Signed up on two more CPA networks

Day 5
today was birthday my friends visited my place so kept this day free
came back and spend more time on looking at offers and keyword research

Day 6
discovered Chad Hameh and went through his stuff,
Was prepared to set up my first campaign
Was confused of sub IS and call back pixel do I have to set up both?
Tutorials on Prosper202 is set to private so I cannot view any of them
spend hours on forums looking into it
Msged via AIM to my AM she was very unhelpful saying yes and no like a bot!
frustratingly still get 500 keywords and start the campaign with low budget

Day 7

Yesterday was very frustrating day setting up campaign. How do I track 7search clicks via prosper202 and maxbounty offer?

I just asked basic questions to Am which she replied in one line.
I spent whole day figuring things myself,
Signed up in a private forum and they have been somewhat helpful
Finally after 5 hours got to bring in all info together and set up tracking via Prosper202
Seriously Prosper202 are making videos available only to paid customers
Finally broke the virginity and set up first campaign with 15dollars budget

One concern was when I was rotating the landing page (2 offers) and testing the link
it took 7-15 seconds to load. Would it be problem?

Second, how do I rotate ads in 7search? Can I do it via Prosper202?

Today
Saw 6 clicks but NO conversions
Spent 3 hours researching and adding new keywords added 400 new keywords
Am very impatient and decide to open another two traffic sources - Adcenter and YA
End of the day 7search generated 15,000 impressions and only 13 clicks with 0 conversions one keyword took 80% of the cost so reduced bidding price
Will wait two more days to decide to change landing pages or offers.
Will try to look for other offers like email submits

How do you track conversion in 7search via direct linking?

Day 11
Yesterday was bloody frustrating day. I still haven't et got a SINGLE conversion! Moreover I was losing my focus and target, I was growing impatient and want to scale campaigns, the two fears to go tier 1 ppc were Adcenter does not allow direct linking so I got a new template which may help email submits campaigns. Then I read in a blog a person mentioned Microsoft adcenter does not like email submits. Darn will have to get VPS. The same thing with google except they never allow email submits so will have to focus on on CPS

I re initiated 7search campaign which was put on hold, let it burn through money before I can make decision. Just 25 clicks with 20,000 impressions.

I turned my eyes on email submits, got 3 campaigns and did my first negotations with a site owner for site buy took 5 emails. Then when I went to get banners most banners were total crap. I got a software and did my own. Anybody know a person or company who does great compelling banners?

I did some realistic calculations with the rate I am going it will take me months before I even make 100 dollar revenue. Therefore I will have no choice but to get into top tier PPC with my own landing page and VPS.

Darn feel bad I still haven't got my first conversion will have to accelerate.

Day 12

Started two more campaigns
Joined 2 more networks
Posted 4 banners ads eat the end of the day it had like 7000 impressions and 2 clicks. Bad conversions but will try to add different banners after few days
Still no conversions
My eyes are set on launching Adwords and Adcenter
Shopping for VPS IMHO with possible switching of IP

What I had learnt from 1 week of campaign is 2nd tier is cheap but slow and traffic bad compared to first tier
