CPA How To Help Needed From Experts

Ok, so I have been thinking about getting into mailing CPA offers. I have multiple places that accepted my company already and they do pay. I try running CPAs in the past, but I was so busy with my regular mailings to make it work.

I have research the CPA field recently and this is what I have found out, please correct me and tell me why I should go in that direction or not...

Need VPS server... Need a cheap one, since I am trying it out.
Need proxies... Same as above statement.
Need data <-- Have tons of data already.
Need tracking ... thinking about using Tracking202/Prosper202
Need Mailer Software ... Read on BHW that Mail Mascot Email Mailer was the best?
Need good data list cleaner and verifier... Need a free one that works fast.

What else am I missing? Any help and input will be appreciated it. Thanks

Is it really mail promotion of CPA offers better than other conventional methods (i.e blog reviews/banners , ppc ) ?

Did you already try these things and couldnt succeed ?

I am not sure which promotions are better or which methods. What I do know is how to mail in large amounts. So I figured I start by doing something I am familiar with. I did try way back when I started as a mailer, made about $300-$500 a day, but then became a "regular mailer" for agencies and made a nice income. Things are slow right now, so I figured I use the part of the data that I have not doing anything and try to generate some extra income.
