Say your doing cpa marketing on CL with CJ, and you post an ad without the affiliate link, get a response, and then respond to them answering their questions with the affiliate link.

Can I just tell my cpa network that I'm doing email marketing?

Will they allow that? If not, what's the best way to go about about masking the links, and blanking/faking/cloaking the referrer? Any good threads you can point me to for that? Thanks I appreciate it.

Most CPA Networks do not like CL Traffic.

Creating your own landing page is the best option.

Check with your account manager 1st and foremost. Also, the offer will tell you if they accept CL and BP traffic most of the time. One thing that I used to do is build an email tree which hid my traffic source. Email trees would consist of a gmail address forwarded to a fast.fm email address then forwarded to mozilla thunderbird. You will use the gmail address for posting your ads, and you will use mozilla to respond to the interested parties. This has worked well for me without any problems other than ads being ghosted sometimes.
