Hi guys,

Firstly thank you for your time. Please do not think I am a drive-by leach trying to obtain the info for free which you have worked so hard to achieve. I pay my dues in a round about way. With that said, I have but a couple simple questions that I was hoping someone could assist me with.

I have just created a free Blog, I want to place a locker on every page which forces the viewer to complete a tremendously easy survey perhaps (or something similar) in order to gain access to the site itself (which is visible in the BG). I have spent quite a few days investigating this technique but am a bit confused about not only the terminology in some cases, but also which Network / Program would be best for my particular situation.

Is what I'm looking for called a file locker, content locker, or gateway locker?

I would like to use the best of the best Company. Highest paying, but also the very simplest way to unlock the Website in the BG. Shall I use PeerFly, FileIce, Sharecash, Leadbolt, BlamAds, CPA Leads, etc.. ???

If I am completely off base about what's what and such, please just give me a text slapping, then try to help me become more educated if you have the patience.

Thank you

Either use your networks in house script (I use adscends sometimes) or get content locker pro of you can splash out some cash.

Thank you for the response.

However, I haven't signed up to a Network yet as I'm needing to know not only which would be best for my particualr situation, but also which is the 'best' in general, as stated in my post.

Also, I believe one has to drop the Content Locker Pro script onto a Site's Server correct? I don't have access to that area as this is for a free Blog.

Thank you though

Yea you need serve access for content locker pro, but why not use Wordpress on some free hosting? Also, I use adscend and they are good and always pay on time.

depends on your niche. if you are into movies/tv shows try mgcash. if anything else try content lock pro. where is your free blog hosted? blogger?

All the names you listed for a content gateway are valid. Different terminology exists, but content locker or content gateway is the most common.

Self hosted lockers are great for being able to get the most bang for your buck. However, it's often time consuming to test different offers and to setup offers for different countries.
Unless you have visitors from only a few countries, expect to spend a lot of time setting up dozens of offers.

I work for a content locking network. Although it may seem that I have a bias, I speak from experience. We spend a lot of time getting offers from all around the world and making sure they convert for our affiliates. If you're interested in giving us a shot, you can reach me on AIM: adgatedan or skype: dpozzster

Like Keytenx said it depends on the niche. If you are in a niche that doesn't break any copyright laws then any network would work. I've used adscend media and they are good. It would be best to sign up to a couple of different companies and see which ones work best for you. This business is all about testing so don't get disappointed if you don't make money at first. Just try something else and keep testing.

Join a CPA network that can supply you with the content locker code. Adscend media gives you a code that you post in your blog. So it saves you the time and the trouble of setting up your own. Another good thing to do is test where you want the content locker to pop up.

Example
If you are doing a video game cheats blog try making it pop up right away and see how that converts. Then try to let it show the cheats for 10-30 sec. and then load.

If you want to do a movie niche try making the content locker load right away and see how that converts. Then try making it load on a button that says "watch now".

I hope this helps you out. good luck!

You mean the networks denied your applications based on that?

Which networks?

I'm sorry I should have been more clear. I meant I didn't want it to potentially affect what I already had going on.
