CPA failure...so far!

Here is my situation right now.

I made 3k full color 2 sided postcards promoting a google biz op. I got a very nice domain name. VERY simple lander with CPA link front and center of page.
Here are my results:

3000 postcards hand delivered (by me) on cars and at front door mats
337 unique
168 clicked through

0 sales!!!!


WTF! Help my fellow Black hatters!

I got off my ass and took action and got nothing...

Were you split testing the cards?

Also, don't expect many sales as the traffic you're getting is extremely untargeted.

Any suggestions for targeting? I live in a large city in SoCal...USA.

I hit a college student area and a middle class hood. Maybe a lower class area?

You guys mention targeting:

1. poor area apts/homes
2. poor shopping areas
3. employment office parking lot


Do you think I am on the right track? Way off base?

There's a right way and a wrong way to do cpa. PM me if you need some direction, but if you need a demo it's gonna cost you, sorry but time is money.

If you think people on BHW are bad for not taking action, the general public is 100x worse. They watch those biz opps on TV all the time but don't have the balls to even consider it. They just end up going back to their work a day life.

if you want them, try a freebie walmart card offer or something.

I have been targeting a middle to upper middle class coastal neighborhood. Not sure where to go next...

Well I pick up 3k MORE cards today and hittin the streets tonight!

I've heard people doing the same thing..but more targeted. Try selling a college scholarship/loan CPA thing AT a college. I'd hit the commuter parking lot with your cards, etc. As you've found out..blanketing the planet with a generic offer will get your no where.
