Fro those of you that are heavy into CPA. Do you buy a domain name for each type of offer and create landing pages or do you just point the offers through meta refresh?

I'm just getting into CPA in a big way( I know should have been doing this for a long time, but I've been working on other stuff) and I'm trying to come up with the best strategy to cheat just a little, but still stay on the level enough that I don't get banned from the networks. I'm using PPC at the moment and whiel my conversions are not bad, they are not where I think they should be for some of these offers. I'm think a presell landing page would be better, but wanted to get some others' opinions on this. I could do the landing page on one of my current domains, but it may also make sense to just do it on its own page.

Does anyone have an opinion on this?

While I'm not "heavy into CPA", I can say that my domain names for CPA offers depend on how the offers will be promoted. If using AdW0rds Search Network, having your keyword in the domain name is a good thing to do, whereas if you're going to use the Content Network, it won't matter as much, if at all. If you're planning on doing offline advertising, the domain should probably be one that's short, catchy, and easy to remember or say to someone over the phone (i.e., no more than 3 words and no hyphens). Another reason for making sure that the domain name is short is because if you want to place a small ad (say, 1" x 1") in a newspaper, your domain name might not fit on one line.

I am planing to have about 5-6 sites doing various products but interlink them so they can cross promoting one another. I hope my idea is the right one. Any comment ?????

I also want to ask this.
I create landing page for email/zip submit.
I use meta refresh for products of click2sell.
What about CPA expert?

I could do the landing page on one of my current domains,

Dont do this ..its risky.

When doing Black hat you must always stay under the radar and keep yourself undetectable.

As for me ..though Im not a BH expert ..with my little experience I can recommend that having a domain definately converts better as it helps being proffesional and people tend to trust a .com name more than a lengthy fluffy/ suspicious 'url'

Do I have to setup websites first, then get affiliate ? Or juat a domain name with no host, then trying to squeeze some alliliates ? Will the comapny check my site first before approving me ?

If you are talking about the CPA network, then definitely yes they will check. Some of the offers will check if they have pre approval requirements.

Thanks to everyone else. It helps. I'm leaning towards having a domain name. It will need to be a little generic as offers come and offers go, so I would not want to lock myself into a single offer. Most of them have restrictions against using their trademarks in any domain name.
