Guys, what is this guy talking about here cpa-arbitrage . net ?

I will quote it here:

And if you look at the Earnings Per Click (EPC) above, you can see that I was pocketing $1.83 EVERY time I sent someone through to this offer...
And this means that I can spend up to $1.83 to get a visitor! Obviously, the less I spend, the more I make and the better the offer the more I make, but that's CPA Arbitrage in a nutshell - it's like trading, but you're trading traffic!
And below is a "cost per sale" offer that paid me $48 per sale. I ran this one in February 2010. The ACTUAL product was $4.95, which means I was paid 960% commissions for this offer!!

How does this actually work? Does CPA really pays you that much per visitor you send them on their offer?

Lets say your EPC for 40$ offer is 1$... Will you get 1$ for every visitor you send or this works different?

Btw is there any network that pays you if you bring them visitors on their offers etc... Like 10 cents per visitors or something like that?

Tnx :)

EPC (earnings per click) is how much you're making on average per click for the traffic you've sent.

So if you send 40 clicks to a $40 offer and make one conversion, you'll have a EPC of $1. The CPA/CPS is still $40.

It's very rare to find advertisers willing to pay per click (on CPA networks).

EPC is the average between people sent to the offer and money made. So if your EPC was $1 it would mean your making $1 average for every person you send.

And from the sounds of your quote that guy had lazer targeted traffic.

LOL
What a product
Product cost - 5$
and
Affilate gets 50$ per sale
seems scam

Earnings Per Click (EPC)

Online advertising is a form of promotion that uses the Internet and World Wide Web to deliver marketing messages to attract customers. Examples of online advertising include contextual ads on search engine results pages, banner ads, Rich Media Ads, Social network advertising, interstitial ads, online classified advertising, advertising networks and e-mail marketing, including e-mail spam.

Cost per Activity (CPA)

When a mobile consumer sends requests for additional content in the form of, for example, e-vouchers, audio files or video clips, then the advertiser is charged a nominal amount in terms of their budget by the web-driven platform supporting the marketing campaign. Each of these requests is defined as an activity, and as such, the pricing model is broken down in terms of a cost-per-activity. The amount payable by the advertiser is then a function of the number of requests for additional information from the mobile consumer, multiplied by the agreed cost/activity. The pricing model was created by Mobilitrix, a mobile solutions company based in Cape Town, South Africa. i.e. The advertiser only pays when a potential consumer accesses additional information or content as prompted by a static piece of media (POS poster, billboard, TV, radio or print advertisement). c.f. The PPC (pay per click), a.k.a. CPC (cost per click) model.

Thanks,

"A cut-and-paste job or cut and paste approach is a pejorative reference to various kinds of work produced by "cut and paste", i.e., a quick combination of pieces of text collected from various sources, a compilation.[1]

In application to book writing, cut and paste job implies little creativity, no original research and no new insights. It is often assumed that these books are produced by journalists rather than experts in the subject."
