In some ways, I agree with you. There are always certain factors to consider.
Look, if I can illustrate what I mean, this would be it. The industry will be as it is and always has, it rarely moves unless you're a disruptor (and a disruptor isn't asking why they can't sell lipstick in Afghanistan). Marketing is being able to understand the problems at hand, being able to solve the problems flexibly, marketing and business in general is so variable, so much happens on a very quickly evolving basis, if you're someone like OP you're so stubborn you consciously forfeit sense of making reasonable decisions despite the evidence at hand.
