I've been around the block with namecheap, godaddy etc and even if you get a good deal, you'll have to go through the hassle of transferring it for the second year because they'll rip you off.
Go with namesilo, they're the best I've had. $8.99 per year including privacy (this doesn't get more expensive after first year) and $7.99 if you use RETMENOT coupon code.

yeah just like the other guys said you can just use the google chrome addon called "honey" and when you are at the checkout page you'll see a button of the honey addon click it and it will get you the best promo code around !!
