    Morning people,

OK a couple of newbie Twitter questions, if you'd oblige.

The people that offer x amount of free followers to your account. Are they simple setting up lots of accounts and then just using a script to send these followers to your account?

Second question, I made a script that posts tweets automatically to an account. The tweets were real generated by a script I'd made based on current trends. The account was blocked after about 6 hours. I managed to unblock it by entering a captcha but it was then blocked again another 6 hours or so later. Is there a way to prevent this?

    Thanks!!

Twitter has a limit to how many tweets you can do within an hour - you're probably hitting that limit to be blocked for 6 hours also Twitter along with other big sites will always give aged accounts more authority if you're opening up a brand new account and spamming out links with trends then this will trigger a ban.

The best advice I can give you is to emulate human behaviour whatever you do, anything that is humanly impossible will most likely get you banned & if you want big numbers then make more accounts = more conversions.

Hey lorem you have the answer in your first question ... Yes you are right !! I read somewhere, that they simply setup some 100 of fake accounts and start redirecting the followers to our account. But its a bad practice... it just increase followers but not sales to our business.
