Hello, do you think domains with country extensions are a ranking factor? For example, when I examine a few multilingual sites, their traffic generally seems to be concentrated on 1-2 countries. I think that the German page of a site that rank high, especially in an English word, should also be at the top. But as a result of my research, it doesn't seem like that much. What do you think about it, what are your experiences on this subject?

I do. But I can't prove it (nor do I care about proving it if I'm being honest). However, I would say that the ranking boost is not big enough to warrant chasing after a relevant ccTLD at all costs. It's just one of those little things that, when combined with other little things, adds up to give positive results. Google have over 200 ranking factors, and I'd not be surprised to hear that one of those factors (for local search at least) is ccTLDs.

This being said, if you see a lot of non-ccTLDs ranking in your niche at the expense of ccTLDs you should not worry and just get a .com :)

The country extensions is definitely a ranking factor. It will be easier to rank in germany with a .de domain name. 100%!
