Is there any way to counteract your competition buying dislikes for you videos? I dont want to drop my rankings

I might be crazy but I don't think a bunch of dislikes is gonna derank your competitors, the way yt ranking changed so much I think now the dislikes are perceived as feedback and only solidifies the rank.
My source? I've tried that to derank and it didn't work.

Believe it or not dislikes are actually a good thing for video. But of course you as the creator don't want your video disliked
