    I was able to successfully get

    http://www.hashemian.com/tools/javascript-countdown.htm

    to work on my coupons site

    http://www.clippersisters.com/coupons/item/61-get-80-off-restaurantcom-25-gift-certificates.html

    for expiration dates. I used some php to pull the expiration date. You could do a php get date, add a day to it and use it as the countdown date.

    I tried a few other coundown scripts, they did not work in IE, at least my version which is 8, it did work in FF. The one I have the link to above works in both IE8 and FF 3.63. I dont use any other browsers.

    Just so you know, the script says
    TargetDate = "12/31/2020 5:00 AM";

    Yet my expiration date I type in my database was pulled as YYYY/mm/dd

    It still parsed it and spit out the countdown clock.

    And I just seen that there are a few more countdown clocks in the middle of that page.
