Okay for the first time in history I actually logged in my CJ.com account lol, stupid me I never knew they had such killer offers.

As I clicked on the hosting offers I realized that they offer 100$ per hosting account referred to them and they accept incentive offers. Could I like just pay my friends to set up a hosting account with them and get 100$ ... that easy. Or is there a catch to it ? Never really used CJ.com anyone got any answers ?

Sure, you just need a bunch of friends to set up legit accounts. But no reason it wouldn't work.
 
Damn yea lol I know some people who want a website done, could just send them to that and offer them a free month payed by me.
 
Even better if you flip websites which I do as soon as I'm done with them, offer a free month as part of the package
 
Nice, how do you do it ? Do you deduct like 6$ from the price so they sign up under your link ? Or you buy the hosting account yourself and pass it onto them ?
 
Here is the catch... good luck getting paid. Hosting offers have HUGE reversals. Even for legit leads.

In addition your friends would have to pay for a 1 year of hosting for you to get paid (IF you get paid). They don't pay out on monthly hosting, and sure you will see the sale in your stats for a few weeks. Just before payment they will reverse the sale.

You ask why, and the hosting companies will tell you that they can't pay out $100 on a $20/month hosting package, and require that they pay for one year at a time.

Yea, they GET to keep the sale and not pay you.

This is one of the biggest dirty little secrets in hosting affiliate marketing. These offers have been around for years, and it's exactly WHY most established affiliate avoid them.

Near as I can figure they prey on new affiliates to keep their programs going. :pcguru:
 
When it's sold I throw it in as a "freebie thank you" get them to sign up themselves so it belongs to them (more pertinently so it's not tracked back to me) and I refund them the first three months. (If you offer a month they have it in their mind to cancel it after the month, if it's 3 they tend to forget about it

So if they sign up for a year, the hosting companies will pay my sale? I mean i'm not intending to get people to sign up for a month and thats it.
 
Yes, they have to pay for the entire year. They don't pay on the monthly hosting packages because if anyone fails to pay (say 2 months later) they don't make any money they lose it.

However, you don't really see any details on this outlined when you sign up with the advertisers.
