could these instagress settings be tweaked

Hey guys, I don't know if I'm asking a bit much for being so new here, but I guess I will soon find out.

I have a few accounts on the go, the account most important to me is for an automotive wax product. I usually post a few times a day, not at any particular times. I'm based in Scotland, however, we are happy to send all around the world so I've never really focussed much on optimal posting times.

it is at 21k after around a year. I get around 2-400 per week and I guess I could be doing a lot better. I have never bought any followers but have used a coin system for likes in the past to

I genuinely didn't know this was a problem with gaining. I figured, it could get your account closed mind you.

It can definitely get your account closed, the question is whether or not you're practicing safe botting practices.

I have made changes to the times. I'll now try mimic 8 hours a day. I'll turn it on in morning.

Mate, you are just asking for trouble.

I know like most of us you are gonna think it won't happen to me but it WILL if you get manually reviewed.

I am not against instagress as it is brilliant but you have to be sensible.

There is no way in hell a human will like, follow etc for 8 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It just wouldn't happen.

Set your settings to what you as a human would do (6-9am) (1-2pm) (5.30-7pm) and the weekends off.

The above is STILL a stretch but a MILLION times more likely to pass a manual review.

I sincerely would hate for anyone who actually gives a shit about producing decent content for their customers to lose an account 2 years down the line because they thought they wouldn't get caught.
