Exactly. Or 1000 PCs using that "program".
But it would be cheaper to rent a botnet for few hours than build your own without any ressources & technical knowledge.

Forget those apps once and for all.

I tested it out on an old blog and it appeared to have took the blog down but then the program was running my internet connection down very low and I had to stop it.

That's the point of it. It's used for Denial of Service attacks. The simplest form of a DoS is bombarding the address with bad requests so that legitimate requests cannot get through, denying a legitimate user the service. It makes sense that the program would utilize as much of your bandwidth as possible.

I wouldn't make a habit of doing it from your home connection. I'm pretty sure it's illegal in the UK (Prob USA too).

easy way to get a bot network going is to use angry ip scanner and dictionary file i know a guy who knows a guy that says if you scan a poor country's looking for unsecure systems you will them
