Could bitcoin become extinct?

yes, it will. But not in our lifetime.

It’ll never go to 0 because when it does I’ll buy every single one. ;)

Believers point to its strong community, limited supply, potential as a store of value, and even cool tech. But threats loom: government crackdowns, faster competitors, security risks, and environmental concerns.

What are the chances that bitcoin will become extinct?
Something that’s decentralized can’t disappear, and something as big as bitcoin will always have a vast amount of people from the community around to support its network by running nodes/miners.

in my opinion BTC has proven itself to be here to stay.

If you own 50% of all btc in circulation then you have rights to change some of the structure, though nothing not even the election had a greater than 50% win rate. It was always lower.

I am not a scholar on the subject, but I think it is very unlikely that this will happen.

Really don't think it will happen , at least in near future
