cost per day on spyfu.c0m

Hi, i am trying to find some niches. have come across some good keywords. am trying to build micro sites. one thing i am not sure about is the how to decipher the cost per day and clicks per day given on spyfu. if the cost per day is below 5 dollars and my target is say 3 $ per day from this site, is it OK to go with this keyword. OR is there a general criteria that even the number of searches and competition may be low but cost per day should be above a minimum threshold.

there's no way to know how much you'll get per click. Getting information about a certain keyword is very possible, but you'll have to investigate further on how many ads around that keyword are (the more the merrier) and are ads going to show-up within (or along) your content.

If there are let's say 50 ads for that keyword and most of those ads you see showing up on your website (p.s: you could use an adsense tool to view ads related to your content, I forgot how it's called but you can find it in the tools at DP) ... just my 2c on this as I've tried this before and it never really works out as planned.

I'm not saying it doesn't work at all, it just hasn't for me because I wasn't really aware of the things I wrote above when I first started this method. I have websites where adwords says the bid for that keyword is $0.05 and I still get $1-2 / click.

What i want to know is if the total cost to an advertiser for that specific keyword is coming to say less than 5 dollars per day and lets say there are twenty advertisers for that keyword, then is it a good niche to choose.
and i m talking about micro adsense sites.

I know what you're talking about, in theory - yes, it's a good niche. The only downside to this technique is that you're never sure how well your ads will match your content and your targeted keyword. Thus, you can't exactly tell if your clicks will really be that valuable or not ... for example you might be targeting the keyword bunnies and somewhere in your content you might have the keyword carrots and google might deliver ads for carrots ( it's just an example ) ... I think you got what I'm saying.
