Correlation btw Bing and Google Rankings

If a new website already tapped bing page 2 for a set of difficult keywords, does that imply that google will soon rank that for those keywords too? Or it is completely unrelated, since these are majorly different search engines? Anyone did any case studies?

Tbh for me atleast i have a mainstream Website ranking quite good in Bing but horrible in Google so i would say its unrelated and they use different ranking algorythms.
 
Ranking well on Bing page 2 for difficult keywords doesn't guarantee that the same website will rank well on Google for the same keywords.Google and Bing use different algorithms. The factors that led to the Bing ranking might not hold as much weight on Google.

I have the feeling that Bing does not care as much for Backlinks as google does (imo)

I think it also favors more exact match domains.
 
Both search engine has their parameters to rank site. But Bing search engine deindexes the site after a couple of months. A few of my sites were deinxed by Bing.
 
From what I understand, Bing is something like 5 years behind Google. I know they heavily weigh tf/idf and emds, while Google abandoned those years ago.
 
It's unrelated. You may rank high on bing but not on Google .
