Hypothetically,

If a local investor scammed you mum out of £15,000. The police won't do anything. What would you do?

How would you correct the wrong? Hack his emails to prove he's scamming people, scam him but how? Etc etc

This hypothetical man shouldn't get away with it, he convinced one old lady to leave him her land in her Will, another he's taken investment money for an investment he was caught telling someone else it would fail and done more.

How would you correct this wrong?

I would like to meet them in a secluded area for a private conversation about the issue where we won't be interrupted. I guess I would hire some local intellectuals who could help me convince them of the pros and cons of their actions, and hopefully, a resolution could be reached that we would all be satisfied with.

The answer to your hypothetical question is nothing I would hypothetical tell anyone in a forum like this.

Exactly this. Fraud is already at an all time high.

To answer your question as generically as possible OP, since you're talking in pounds sterling i'd contact the National Crime agency and / or Action Fraud and tell them all about this 'hypothetical man'.

What forum would you hypothetically answer in
If I hypothetically was talking about other forums here, I would get an infraction and a warning from the moderators of this forum, since it is forbidden by this forums rules and terms here to talk about other forums. So I will not do that.

So you would commit a crime to prove he is committing a crime?
FYI, your crime you committed won't be just "ignored" because proved he is a criminal
I would report it to the authorities and if they really do nothing.
I would honestly move on, see it as a lesson as the world is a dog eat dog world.
Everyone steps over someone to get above, as sad as it sounds.

thanks for the responses.

think I'm in the wrong forum. The other marketing stuff in the forum is cool though
