In my opinion, strong content is the foundation, but it usually works best when it’s supported properly. Backlinks can still help with visibility and authority, especially in competitive spaces. My advice would be to focus on quality content first, then earn links naturally where it makes sense rather than forcing them.
 
Strong content can rank on its own, but without links Google usually just moves slow and doesn’t fully trust the site.

If you are looking for long - term growthth then you need to have 3 Basics working together 1) Content 2) Backlinks 3) Site Structure
