Very good list. Brian Keith Voiles wrote a great hard-hitting article about headlines back in 2003. I
have it here on one of my sites: airbrushsalon dot com/11secrets.pdf. I still consider it one of the best
written articles that I've ever read. It's worth keeping as a swipe file.
On his site: briankeithvoiles dot com/headlinel/ you can look over his shoulder as he writes headlines and copy.
There are quite a few videos, but you'll see the creative process in action.
A lot of people doing internet marketing are good at the internet part, bad at the marketing part. You aren't alone. Start reading the recommended sales and advertising books (and blogs) and you'll open yourself up to a whole word of money that you didn't realize existed.
I suggest you read up on consumer psychology and possibly take a copywriting course. I kicked off my copywriting career with a lot more than that, but honestly you only need to know the basics and can learn a lot more through split testing copy.
