copyscape questions please provide insight

I grabed 2 articles from the net. They are pretty long articles, i have the program dupcop which compares the orginal to the new rewriting article. In dupcop it showed above 30 percent on each article and said ready to be published. Which i belive thats the area i need to be aiming at. I ran my new site in copyscape and it showed other websites that had some of the same "phrases". Is this normal?

If CopyScape reported those phrase duplicates to you, then I would say plagiarism still applies.

Now, wouldn't it be easier AND more effective to have just wrote a new and original article yourself after absorbing all of your research? Or paid $8 for one?

I know CopyScape would find your new article unique.

atleast until 100 people copy it and repost it everywhere and syndicate/autorewrite it etc.

They are not trash...the effect on your site also depends on the other content that is there as well..

Honestly? Fuck dupe content. I've been posting dupe content for a little over a year and really havn't had any issues and with proper promotion have outranked the original article in some cases.

One good alternative though is to get someone to rewrite the articles for $1 a piece. I use someone from odesk for this and the articles come back pretty good

Article rewriters are only as good as the person using them. In order for them to be truly effective you not only have to rewrite the sentences, but also next replacement words within the rewritten sentences as well.

If you think you can just rewrite each sentence once or twice and get some totally unique content, your pretty much screwed.

I am simply saying...

You can have someone else do the research & writing for you and accomplish a very favorable result online (unique content).

It is fairly inexpensive, but worth the price (IMO). Be sure to get samples of the writing before you buy - Just do your normal inquiries. It pays to have your own stuff - even if you researched everyone else's stuff to write your own... that is called education - (wink)

did you say it was 30% unique? thats not enough at all i think i try to make my articles be atleast above 50% that then passes copyscape usually.
