I'm confused so if anybody can help...

I'm scraping expired articles. One passed copyscape. I ran a search on google and it's an Ezine Article. How's this possible? Shouldn't copyscape flag it?

In my search for an answer, I can across this tool which might help those that order articles. It will search for the text encoding that apparently fools copyscape:

http://www.cynosurex.com/Software/Text Encoding Detector/

It just happened again to a second article I checked...I then ran an article from the BBC and it flagged 20 other website.

Why isn't it flagging Ezine articles :(

If you really wanna know, how about you post the article here so we can check for ourselves.

Anyways, while copyscape generally appears to be bulletproof, keep in mind that it might miss indexing a page every now and then.

Thanks for your reply, but they are niche specific so I'd be giving my niche away...

Always use Google, if it or part of it appears in Google Search, then you shouldn't use it without a complete rewrite.

Well, I'm using them on web 2.0s in the main. I will now remember to check a paragraph on google after performing the CS check. Thanks for the comment.
