I plan on oppening a news site about a TV show, and wanted to ask a few questions regarding copyrights.

    1. Am I allowed use an exact match show name in my domain (SHOWNAME.xxx)?

    2. What about uploading screenshots from the show itself, is that appropriate?

    3. I'm not going to do anything illegal with the site (online views etc.), but just for the extra saftey I want to host the site in a country that I'll be safe in. would Amsterdam servers do the trick?
    • Also, I'm going to use ".me" extension. Is it safe to use? (In comparisson to .com for example.)
    • Domain privacy really does the trick or it's more of low quality mask that if investigated could be revealed?
    Thank you.

    1. Probably not.
    2. Depends who owns the copyright to the images. If you make them yourself then possibly OK under "fair use"
    3. You should look at offshore bullet proof hosting. .me should be OK, I usually try to go for .com, domain privacy works but any serious investigation then your details would be revealed with a court order. More than likely they would try to have the site taken down via your host or the domain name reclaimed by your registrar.
