It's better if you use offshore hosting when using copyright materials on your site. Also, you'd have to look for an offshore registrar for your domain because from what I hear, Germany is quite strict with piracy laws. Better safe than sorry, mate. Take all the precautions

It depends on the situation, if the content of your server is not either copyrighted or illegal then there is no need to go for offshore hosting. However, in your case I suggest you to go for offshore hosting, since it's always good to be on safer site. If you want, you can also find a good hosting deal in BHW market place.

I do NOT host any illegal stuff.
Mainstream stuff only.
I mean i grab some pictures of ugly animals from wikipedia or other websites, put them into a top 10 list and rank them in google.de.
