I know this might have been posted up a few times already but I know you are a group of nice people I just completed a website design for one of my clients and the images I've used are from Google images. Now that it's 100% completed, ready to be migrated, they asked if the images I used are copyrighted ones or not and if we have the permission to use them. What should I do? How do I check if these images are copyrighted or not? And they are asking for proof that we have the permission to use them. Any advice?
google image --> advance google search (filter or sth I dont remember) --> use right -->>> choose " image can reuse"
When you start building the site you should use any images search engine and filter "safe for reuse" or "licensed for commercial use" or "creative commons". You can't simply pick up random images and use them. All the images on Wikipedia are creative commons licensed. Flickr and google images are good sources of licensed images as well.
Dear, The images uploaded from Google are not your property, so we will not recommend you to use them on your site. Moreover in order to check whether the image is already uploaded then use Google image check tool. It will tell you how much places the image is already posted overall on the internet.
