So... I was having a 'couple' of beers the other day, I went and did some research on domain names. Lo and behold - there I found a great domain name containing both "Apple" and "Iphone". Easy decision I thought to my self, I bought the domain on spot. My master plan was to redirect this domain to an Iphone cpa offer. But when I woke up the next morning and came to think about my master plan, it suddenly struck me that this domain might be useless because of copyright/trademark stuff.
What do you think? Can it be used?

You could get a C&D letter if your site comes to their attention but I have had a Crapple trademark named site for years without a single letter. Go for it!

That was my thought as well - if they send me a letter, I'll just take it down. Ok, thanks - I'll go for it.

Apple is going berserk with their trademark lawsuits. It could work, but not worth the possible issues down the road.

A recent and ridiculous example...

"Apple Sues Polish Grocery Store Over A.pl Name"

Yea..I know, that example is just loony!

apple its a normal fruit name, the grocery its not related to tech so apple lawyers are stupid this will end in just a money waste nothing else

u can promote put the website out of the us/ca

Yea, but my domain contains both the fruit name and the product, and I was planning to promote cpa with it
