So I upload daily gaming videos to my channel. I use music from NoCopyrightSounds channel and similar. They are copyright free, but sometimes some of them just randomly gets 3rd party copyrights after few months.

So, is there any chance that I get a real copyright strike that destroys my monetizing using these "uncopyrighted songs"

Thanks!

NCS tries only to provide copyright free content, but sometimes music is copyrighted and they provide it by mistake. In case that you got a copyright strike because you were using a NCS music in your video, then it is a legit strike. It is NCS fault in the first place, but the one who takes the damage is you.

Next time you use music from certain providers like NCS, make sure to have a look at the comments and make sure no one claims to have copyright problems.

Answer : Yes, because NCS is not the owner of songs uploaded to their channel and therefore you can never be sure if the music is copyrighted unless you check it by yourself.

If that happened to you appeal that strike and say that it's a creative common content and you can monetise it. Don't do nothing because it will harm your adsense which is nearly impossible to get back even for false strikes.

The thing is, that it wasnt copyrighted for about 6 months. I made the video last summer and it didnt get 3rd party match, but now in January it got matched. 6 month delay, comments cant help with that.

Can I lose my ad monetizing even if I dont use adsense? I'm partnered with Curse network and I have never done an adsense account.

Try to use soundcloud instead I don't think they have copyright in any music there, and is the artist that put the music there to be shared
Wouldn't suggest doing that, since there are actual established artists on there. Then sometimes artists sample from somewhere else and that can trigger warnings.

Hi there,
Just want to share you absolutely free music for your youtube videos. Not like the records label that uploading artists who own the song & composition rights, this link that i want to share with you is a cooperation between artists who own the rights of their music. They make a youtube channel which provide the real free music for youtube video creators. But of course since this is a new channel, they only have several tracks uploaded, but i believe the channel will upload more tracks in the near future.
Just search on google or youtube search box: Odong-odong TV ( Sorry i can't directly send you the link because i'm the new member of this forum)

Last, Very sorry if the link doesn't meet your need. Regards.
