I finally setup a actual website and not just a blogger site. I am having a hard time understanding what i can put on it though.

My website is in the video game niche, can i use Xbox and Playstation pictures on my site if they are public pictures with no copyright? Can i use game titles and pictures of the games on my website?

Depends what you're doing i guess... I don't think anybody will have a problem with it if you're reviewing something... Maybe using those pictures isn't 100 % legal, but i don't think anybody will make a big fuzz about it. After al it's free publicity and almost every gaming website does it. And if you want to feel a little bit safer just add something like 'copyright Blizzard''...

Well then i wouldn't worry too much...There are so many sites out there that are doing the same thing... It won't affect a game studio, and they wouldn't bother dealing with it since it's just a waste of time for them...

It is copyright infringement if you don't have express permission. Having said that, no one will care. If you were IGN maybe it would matter. But no, you will be fine. I use copyrighted photos on my sites all the time and am not punished.

They won't care if you're just a small business. It's not a big deal, unless you're making millions of dollars off their brands.
