I know a couple who came around that "copyright" when using music.
They simply put:,
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN THE AUDIO, NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED.
In their description, they haven't had one flagged video ever since they've been using that method, don't know if it works today.

Adding dislcaimers in the description does nothing and doesn't protect you or the video at all.

You dont know what you are talking about. Putting that in the description will trigger youtube copyright filters. From my experience if you are indoors and music is playing in the background you could receive a copyright notice. But if you are in a shopping mall for example nad music is playing in the background copyright doesnt apply. Uploading other people videos, especially if they allready are monetized, will be a waste of time.
Hmm, i got my ads on a video, where i used a song that doesn't belong to me.
I don't know either, i'm just lucky then lol.
You are, it would make absolutely no sense for that disclaimer to work.
