Hey guys!

I have 3 accounts in the automotive niche that I've been growing for a few months. I normally just post a high quality image, give credit to the owner of the image and call it a wrap.

I'm interested now to see how my audience responds to HD images with quotes over them...I'd also like to add my @ tag on the photo. My question is...for those that do this do you ever run into any copyright issues? Can I put quotes and my tag on any photo I want or do you think I will run into issues?

I know this is common on motivational niche and success niche, and I know that the owners of the accounts aren't taking all the photos themselves so they must be using others images. I'd like your thoughts.

Thanks,

FF54

Even if you run into troubles, and get reported by someone who have the copyright, the photo will just be removed from your account.

my account is 12 days old with 1,4k followers, thats all ive been doing and no problems

If you get your image removed over a copyright claim, there may be a permenant blemish on your account. Not that it matters anymore but for instance it use hold you back from getting on the popular page. But this one is kinda important, if you hashtag a #hashtag with over 100k tags your photos will not show up in that particular tag. With all the ig changes not sure if this is true anymore but this was the rule of thumb up until atleast a year ago.

Nothing ends with just an "give credit to the owner"

So, in your opinion you advice not to use content of others only if they gave the permission for it or what do you mean?
If it not yours then you can not use it simple ...

But if it edited and sliced then can be re used ... clue

Under fair use you can use like 0.30sec of a 120min movie. Cutting the first 1 min and the last 2 is not fair use :)
