UGH! I made a mistake and accidently uploaded a video on my channel that wasn't mine (it was a trailer that I was using for a movie review and accidently uploaded the trailer instead of my review). Anyway, The video got blocked (immediately after uploading) and now I lost my monitization on all my channels that are connected to my adsense!
When I go to my account information it says that the "Bad standing" strike goes away June 2014. But when you look at the youtube information it says "A copyright strike will expire in six months". Does anyone know this is the case for every strike? Can I get my account back in June if the strike expires?

are you sure the strike was from that video?
check the date of the strike and its details.

Uh huh. You sure it was accidental?

Sadly this time it was lol Lame, I know.

I wouldnt risk this particular account as it usually makes me a couple thousand a month. Big loss for me...

How many subs and daily views do you have to get a couple g's a month?

If it says it will expire in June 2014, then you're just going to have to wait it out.

It's going to stay on your record for at least 6 months, though. This basically just means that if you try something like this again, the penalty could be even bigger. They're not going to let you go as easily the next time.

Agree with post above.

It will expire on June 2014, but you'll be 'on probation' for six months. If you get another strike during this month you'll risk account termination.
