Copyright - how to get around it on eBay?

Sorry I couldn’t think of a better title but basically I’ve been on eBay for a year and I had to create a new account due to multiple copyright violations for my eBay listings (I dropship replica toys, cant say exactly what but I advertise them as replicas). I see other people selling similar and in some cases the exact same items but their posts don’t get flagged. The copyright violation emails eBay sends says the strikes are based on ai that’s trained to detect and I’m wondering the work around here if anyone can help? Thanks!

So you're selling toys that don't meet trading standards to children, and wondering why ebay doesn't let you? Basically parents shouldn't be buying unsafe products, and you shouldn't be listing them, as I bet if you got sued for the death of a child, you would be like "I didn't think it would hurt anyone" lol

I put a disclaimer in the bio and a “read description” in the title saying not to give to children under the recommended age. They are replica Lego figures so it’s mostly young adults buying them, safety is not an issue and I’ve sold 1000+ minifigures with absolutely no customer dissatisfaction.

If you mentioned Lego in the listing then the listing can be pulled for violating the trademark(s) and copyright(s) on the phrase Lego as well as the design of the logo.

The local Dollar Tree sells Lego type blocks in small packages but nowhere will find "Lego" on the packages. They are not sold a replicas, but as generic building blocks.

If all IP owners were to enforce their rights eBay''s business would be in serious jeopardy.

Taking a photo of any manufactured item can be a violation of IP since the act taking the photo and publishing the photo on eBay is duplicating IP without the owner's permission. This can include company names, brand names, company catch phrases and slogans. images, graphics, any text, the manual. Text on products can also use custom fonts that require a license to reproduce.
