copyright free images for blog posts?

I do not want to use copyrighted images for my blog posts, so I wondered if anyone knows good sources for free to use images of all sorts? figured I should start adding pictures since it makes a website so much more professional.

Dreamstime also has a large collection of free stock images, although generally stock photos you have to pay for are a lot better...
