Copyright complaints to google can damage your ranking?

hello i have a question what do you guys think about if my site is copyright complaints to google then google will push me out from search engine? like keywords will not be ranked ?! my seo will be damaged? at lumendatabase.com i checked my site and others eaven facebook or amazin have alot iff copyright reports , how do i handle this or it dosn’t affect? if affects how to remove googe copyrights if possible?

Yes, Google seldom remove the copyright contents that you have published on your website. In most cases google avoid doing that.
Google copyrights can not be removed once published. It is upto google.

I've never heard of the copyright holder being penalized, but I could imagine the copyright offender could be penalized.

I've never heard of this, but it would make sense...if your website has copyright complaints against it, and it's not a big player like YouTube, you could theoretically be penalized. Again, just conjecture.
