I am trying to copyright claim audio e-courses on Youtube from a pretty famous teacher we have copyrights to for the firm I work for. I plan to use Distrokid to distribute them. My question is, do I need to also submit these recordings to a record label so Distrokid will accept them? I've seen a few tips on here suggesting I must prove these works are established and owned by a record label. I think I saw someone else say to just upload to Spotify and then ask Distrokid for distribution for Youtube, however doesn't distrokid also distribute to Spotify? How would that work then? Idk if that's true or not so Im trying to see what I need to prepare for Distrokid to make sure their accepted. I have the U.S. copyright office forms for them as well as the distribution rights for the teachings/e-courses.
