copyrights are not for company names or domains. there are registered trademark for it.
copyrights are for using text, logo, images, tag-line, jingles, artwork etc.
Also that copyright should be registered with copyright office. Mere creating content and then sending you copyright notice is not considered as copyright infringement. You can send counter-notice to the complainant, and let them go in the court to remove content (if they are genuine, they'll spend on lawyer fees and go to the court, if they are your competitors/fake, they'll not).

If the company name is in the domain name you've got, they should file a WIPO/UDRP. Let them file it if they are genuine. You are free to argue there or hire a lawyer if that domain you believe truly does not a trademark infringement.

Today I have a copyright claim. It's one of my better domains. Several hundred RD, da 30. Should I just let it go? Or should i start a new domain and just 301 it to the new name? Would i still have copyright issues if I 301 it to a totally different name?

Just ignore it and dont respond. If things start heating up you can always say you never got the notice. Things get lost in the mail all the time or emails end up in spam folders.

Whenever our customers receive a copyright/DMCA claim, then we just tell them to update their websites, and it's all good. Domains cannot receive a copyright claim.

You should definitely not ignore it if you want to stay with the hosting company because we too take such things very seriously.. but the thing is most often such claims are trash.

We often receive really bad quality DMCA requests, and if they are not formatted properly, then we just request the person who filed it to fix it.

The nice thing is that if you submit a DMCA request you will be taking a legal obligation, and if you mess up, you can get sued. So this is one of the reasons why we often don't get replies from those people with a fixed claim.

We very highly recommend you take such claims seriously, but you really need to know how it works. That way you can react to legit claims (super rare) and ignore fake ones.

its just a pbn no need to worry, if you think its metric still good then can just do 301 to your other pbn url
