So without getting into it and it revealing my site. I got very lucky today. Very very lucky. I tried to write an article on someone whos featured in some good movies but i coulnt find much info anywhere. What i did find was a way to contact this person. Massively shocked when he replied and we got to talking. He agreed to a Q&A and im just waiting for him to fill in the answers before i put it on my site. Thing is, as hes doing the interview with my site, how do i make sure the article is copyrighted and anyone using the article has to link back to the original source (me).?. Do i just write something at the bottom of the article?. What do i do if i find others in my niche have used the article without linking back to me?. Im pretty sure the article will be shared a lot in my niche as hes well known. Anyone any experience of this kinda thing?. Thanks

Write the article, index it. You're the first one to index it, congratulations. Anyone else that rips the article is breaking copyright laws. Having said that, you can't stop people scraping content and re-posting it.

Copyright notice in the footer is enough, for normal countries. Don't forget to place some links to inner pages in case someone want to automatically repost this article. This way you get a link and you don;t have to bother mailing them to take the article down.

If you can realistically see this as something large numbers of people will want to post onto their own blogs, why not additionally make an infographic out of it? It helps them and it helps you too.

Please note that there is a difference between COPYRIGHTING and COPYWRITING.

Copyrighting is the process of protecting your intellectual property.

Copywriting is the art and science of writing persuasive text.

With the above-mentioned in mind, I am moving this thread to the
"Associated Content & Writing Articles" section.

Just put your link in the article and the copyright notice at the end...
