copymatic.ai scam renew subscription

Hello,

I am doing this post to warn you and you prove the dishonesty of copymatic.ai on subscription renewals, I used this service for 15 days, I have no complaints about the quality of the product, however I have wanted to cancel my subscription, and I couldn't find any "button" to cancel my subscription...

So I read their FAQ, and it mentions to cancel the subscription => Click on: My Account > Billing & Invoices > Cancel my plan.

But the problem is that on this page, there is no button or link to unsubscribe, so I dig into the source code (see my screen), and you can see in "grey" what is hidden, and we can find the hidden link to unsubscribe.

So be careful with copymatic.ai, they try to prevent users from canceling their subscription to charge them for another month until the customer complains.

Already tried reaching out their support?
 
Sorry to hear about your troubles but why not try taking the href of your highlighted code and paste it directly onto your address bar to go to the cancel subscription page?

I did it, but not everyone can find this link in the source code, so it's to prevent that I posted this message

I have no complaints about the service of copymatic.ai, but if I can give you some advice to start, use openai directly, it will cost you much less $8 = 50000 words

You have $18 free, just go to beta.openai.com/playground

For basic commands:

write me a text of at least 500 words on the following subject: The benefits of spirulina
Key Words: 'Spirulina Benefits'
=> then click on submit

If the text is not long enough you write:

add more words
=> then click on submit
 
I had a response from copymatic, which informed me that my subscription was no longer active, which is why the button was no longer visible.

While I subscribed on 11/16, my subscription was valid until 12/16 before I used the hidden link to unsubscribe.

So be careful with this company, their practice seems questionable on renewal, the opinions on trustpilot confirm this practice.

For my part, I stop there, but I repeat to myself their services were very good and results that suited me, but I hate bad faith and dishonesty.

Thank you for the advice. My idea is to create long articles for micro niche sites to do affiliate marketing (focused on one product). Therefore, the site can have two or three articles of 1500 - 2000 words each. With a basic AI plan I have more than enough to create on of these sites (or maybe more than one). :)
 
DO NOT buy the yearly subscription
DO NOT get tempted by discount codes

Copymatic is an absolute scam, they only give you a 1500 word trial which is not enough to really test it.
Then once you pay for a subscription and find out that the tool is rubbish, they do not want to refund, saying they have a no refund policy because there is a trial.

This is outrageous as the tool is an online subscription and they could just refund and block access.
They also just ignore support emails.

Then I find out, in their small print, if they do give a refund on the yearly plan you only get a 50% refund.

If they eventually get back to me I will update.
 
If that's a strategy from them, then it a bad one. Hiding the unsubscribe link to charge users for another month without their consent, is a dishonest practice.
 
I have now been waiting over 10 hours for support to get back to me.

It seems like they are a bunch of scammers!

As copymatic is a online tool/ subscription there is no reason for them not to refund and then cancel access.
