Hi guys
After several months from my BHW registration, and a considerable amount of hours reading the forum I've decided to create my own website with a well developed long term-plan that, eventually, will allow me to create a successful offline-online business.

I have been searching for the perfect design for the website idea i have but, until recently, I haven't been very successful.
However I've just found a website that gave me the inspiration I was needing and I would like to create something aesthetically similar, but with some considerable changes.

My question is then, is there any way to:
1)Copy the website theme
2)Make changes to it ( as a guy who doesn't have coding skills)

Thank you very much for your time.:)

PS: I hope this is the right place to put this question

It could be a wordpress theme? I really cant remember how you find out, maybe in the sites source code you can check what the theme is called if its a wordpress theme

put the websites url into the website whatwpthemeisthat.com and it will tell you if it's a wordpress site, if so it'll tell you what theme it is. Buy the theme and hire people to modify to your liking (it won't be very expensive)

Thank you very much for your reply guys, I really appreciate it.

+Nicheblogger I've try it and it didn't found anything
I'm pretty sure it is a unique design for that website as +venerich sugested.

Is there still anyway to copy it?
And if it isn't, how much do you thing it would cost me to ask someone to copy and then redesign it to my taste?
(I would rather do it myself as i want to dominate every aspect of my business including the website design edition)

Just copy the source code and edit it yourself. Html and css literally took me a couple of hours to learn with a good tutorial. You can also use a program called httrack, it basically copies a website...atleast most of it

You sound motivated and confident. I like that. Best of luck to your business and I wish you success in the not-so-distant future.

Sorry I won't be of much assistance here, but I felt the need to get that across.

Cheers!

So you came up with a long term plan and it start with stealing somebody's design????
GREAT START LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
I guess it's safe to say that the next thing in your plan is to copy content from other websites.

Are you in the right forum? Because from my limited experience, blackhatworld do black hat shit like spinning thousands of copied contents and other similar black hat shit for ages which is pretty long term

Once again thank you for your reply guys.

+praetserge is not totally wrong but as i think i made clear, the intention is not just copy the design but, copy it in order to make changes to it, simple use it in order not to start from a blank page, which was being difficult for me.
And I really cant copy content from other websites as i don't know anybody who is doing what i plan on doing, at least not 100%.

+dalinwent6 can you recommend me any good tutorial for what im looking to do?

Costs money, so I did not try it through and through.

Your best bet is to try to find a free template or WP theme that is as close to the one you like as possible. Then do a little editing to it in a program like Dreamweaver in order to get it to where you want it to be. Trying to copy and code the original design that you like without basic html/css/php skills will be a big hurdle to get over for you since your new to it. Stop worrying about the "perfect design" for right now and just concentrate on getting something up and going. Get the "perfect design" when you start making some cash from the project.

Ya, httrack is probably your best bet. For editing, you're gonna want at least a little bit of html knowledge.
Anyways, if you'd like, shoot me a PM with the url and i can send you the site files

well maybe you should have a look at themeforest
you can get hundreds of design themes there upload their demo content and make changes to it
might be easier to use wordpress cms than learning html or css

check headwaythemes you can customize the theme without coding skills so you could possibly copy the theme that you want.

HTTrack is also good, but it will produce a HTML files, not a wordpress theme..

whatwpthemeisthat dot com
Search here for any domain you liked before. If that given URL is not a WordPress theme, then open the URL in your browser and then save that page using ctrl + s or using IDM to save the whole site.

Download a theme that is closest to the design you want. It might take a lot of time but you should be able to find something. You'd be surprised how easy it is to customize wordpress if you have a bit of common sense and read a few tutorials. If it massive customization then it's best to pay someone else and it shouldn't cost you much either. Either ways, good luck mate !
