Copying Someones OLD website. Legal???

I have a ? that I think is interesting. I am thinking of making a site that is similar to someone's old site. For example, the site in question now has a completely new design and content from 2 years ago. I want to mimick their old site. Is this legal? Of course I am planning to change the content up but it will be similar. Thanks for the feedback in advance.

If you copy it ver batim then yes it is illegal.

Give credits to the owner of that site.

It's still illegal, that's like saying a year has passed since an author wrote a book, ok now it's ok to copy it....
