I have a hard time believing that Google wouldn't catch on to an ordinary spinner by now..besides, those are totally fake "short cuts" anyway, the work out to taking as long or longer than just busting it out yoursef....They all seem to work one of two ways (so far as I've seen) either:
a) they require you to follow along select from suggested adjectives/adverbs (each one) in order to ensure the final product makes sense,
or
b) the "spun" product is a steaming pile of S*it that is jam packed with incorrect word usages, really poor choice in word substitutions, and in some cases, a spun result that actually means the opposite of what the original point was, or is just a grammatical mess...or is flat out unintelligible gibberish.
In either of those two cases, you are most definitely going to be reading and editing your spun post, most likely making more than one draft revision, and likely rewording parts that weren't spun to befing with....and if you're talking a 500 word blog post - frankly you could likely have just written it yourself in the amount of time it would have taken you to locate the article to spin, let alone factoring in the proofreading aspect into the equation, editing, and final copy gets completed, and by the time you're satisfied that the end result is something that wouldn't be embarrassing/damaging to have your name attached to, you've spent more time effort and resouces on securing content that someone else "wrote for you", sending it through the "spinner", proofreading and correcting it than it would have taken you to write 3 500 word blog posts from scratch...it just seems silly to me - the "Time saver" in this instance will ALWAYS, in reality, be the biggest time waster...

I tried this years ago and got all my sites banned so would not recommend it. I must admit the sites were MFA and were junk but having translated content on them probably did not help matters.

I know most of those translators produce similar contents when translated and Google can see beyond texts in detecting duplicate contents: punctuations, code noise and others but I would like to know:
Firstly, Can Google detect when an article is translated from other languages to English even when Google translator and any of translation tool using Google API is not used?
Secondly, What's the place of big websites, translating their contents to other languages to also establish themselves in other market. Are their websites penalized for this? since many huge websites have their contents in other languages, sometimes on the same domain.

Just translating the content written in some other language, fixing grammar and making little changes will still can be detected by google and your site can get penalized. So, I won't suggest you to follow this trend.
But,
If you are really having the tough time writing the content follow the step below to generate the unique content without being penalized by google.

step 1: Find at-least 3 or 4 content on the topic you want to write.

step 2: Copy and assemble part-part of these content to generate good and readable content.

step 3: Feed this content to the spinner. ( I would suggest you to use Word-Ai. At past it didn't give good spin but it has been updated recently and now give good spin content *while spinning choose the option readable or regular*)

step 4: Translate this spun content in your language.

step 5: Do the proof reading and fix the grammar.

step 6: Congratulation! Now you have very unique content ready to post in you BLOG.
