Okay so I have went through the process of getting a simple landing page using HTTrack but now how do I upload that site as my own. Im using wordpress and hostgator if that matters. Thanks

Go to wherever HTTrack is storing the files and click on the folder for your current project. Within that, you'll see a few files and a folder called "domain.com" (whichever website you ripped). Click in there and those will be the files you need. If you see "index.html", open it - if the site displays, you're in the right folder and you should compress + upload those files onto your hosting.

(I haven't used the program in forever but IIRC that's how it works.)

Thank you so much for the response, but I cant seem to find where I upload it onto my hosting on the cpanel. I use hostgator.

Put the files into a .zip. Go to your website's folder in cpanel (usually yourdomain.com unless you specified otherwise). Upload the .zip with the toolbar at the top of the page. Once it's uploaded, click on the file, click "extract" (again at the top of the page) and extract the files into the website's folder.

This might help - http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/file-management/how-to-upload-a-file-using-file-manager-in-cpanel

Good luck

Jared
