file manager>create new .html page>edit .html page>right click>paste

Do you have to be skilled in using html? I tried using HTTrack on a huge website and I didnt know what to do with it after i copied it. Im trying to insert it into my wordpress self hosted site. after it copies it...what next? How do i insert it all into a wordpress site? Im pulling my hair out....pls help.

You'd need to adapt the HTML/CSS into a PHP based Wordpress theme.

Httrack will only copy html, css and image files. It will not convert it to WordPress if that's what you are looking for. On the other hand, if you require only functional exact copy of site HTTrack is best option. You can copy website in minutes (depending on its size) and then upload it to your server with Filezilla. You will have exact copy of functional website. Make sure to set links to Absolute URL in Httrack options though (unless you are also changing domain name).
