I have a question. I pretty much used the shell for a sales letter that I liked on the internet. I changed the picture, names, and sell a different product.

Anyways the only thing that is similar is the sales pitch. Can I get in trouble for this?

The page wasn't copyscaped and I know the person is a big scammer. However the sales letter is amazing so I used it.

Just wondering what I should do.

BTW: She has threatened to sue me blah blah blah.

Should I just change up the sales page some, or leave it as is.

FYI. This is a black hat forum so please don't bash me too much.

thanks.

Just change it enough to satisfy her. If she goes through with it and sues you it might be more expensive to defend yourself than it's worth. Of course if you can find other sites with a similar sales page that aren't related to her's you might find that salespage isn't even really her's.

Threatened?.........You are a LONG ways from being sued.
What's the copyright clause, and TOS on the site?

1st -- Tell her to shut the fuck up
2nd -- If she responds with hate, tell her that if she is serious that you would like a lawfully appointed Cease and Desist. She cannot do ABSOLUTELY nothing to you until the Cease and Desist is delivered to you.

Most likely the thought of having a cease and desist will be too much to bear for her. If she is serious however and sends you one, I have many more tricks you can do before you even get into trouble. It's always easier to abide by the C&D, so you let me know when the time comes. First off a Shut the Fuck Up is order, and let her know that you have documented her threats.

Shes bullshitting, tell her to go fuck herself and bring it on, if she was serious she would not have mailed you yet a lawyer would have.

I hate these fucks who threaten that, you know you can take her up for threatening yourself.

If you think shes a scammer i bet if you search some of her text she probably ripped it off someone too.

Thanks guys. Ruck--Thank you for the additional help if this matter continues. I will definitely let you know if I need some help with this.

I always appreciate your guys viewpoint. Puts my mind at ease.
