Quick Theoretical question:

Site A has a PR rank of 6 and a SERP rank of 1 and an age of 6.
Site B is brand fu~king new.
both site A and site B has same keywords in the domain.
ALL ELSE EQUAL (i.e. SAME IDENTICAL BLs, articles pushing etc.)

If I were cancel the domain on site A and host the pages on site B with an age of zero, how long do you think it would take to get site B to rank in PR and SERPs?

I am not going to do this so I don;t care if it's a good or bad idea, I just wanted to get your input on goog's weight of site age alone in regards to issuing PR and SERP results all content and offsite SEO being equal.

isnt there a way to do that in G's webmaster tools. basically go in there and forward everything to the new site? i still think a new site isnt going to hold up, going to take a year, but you never know

Probable able to do it in wbmstrtools but if not, you think it would take a full year to rank as high? or 6 years to match the age rank of the original sitE?
