Though ethically that's not okay to copy one's content. You are violating copyrights. It depends on that someone, whether they'll settle with just filing a DMCA complaint to your host to take the content down or file a lawsuit. Either way that's the risk.

If you delete everything the copyright owners ask you about immedeately there is not really a lot they can do to hurt you. But stealing other peoples' content is not the best thing to do, probably you should at least rewrite the texts

DMCA only applies to USA, that being said, you can get an offshore hosting provider which will turn the middle finger to DMCA requests, search here on BHW there are plenty of hosting providers which dont care about DMCA since they are not in the USA. And f**k google, unless you use adsense, but hey there are adsense alternatives.
And yes, I think it´s always better to spin a little the content, not just copy/paste publish, do some retouching here a rewording there, change paragraphs etc etc.
