Copy-content pages. Do they have any chance on SEO?

I built a website with hundreds of pages just in a day by copying content from a similar website. I've checked the website which is my source for contents such that;

- It is old (5+ years) and was relatively popular in old times. Nowadays, it seems like thrown away such that no new pages added for over a year.
- It has unique content in all posts. I've checked many pages on copyscape and google search. So, I will be the second one who makes the same pages indexed by google.
- It has global rank of 300k on Alexa at the moment and it is going down every day.
- It has google page rank 3/10 at the moment.
- SEOmoz (PA) rating is 54
- SEOmoz (DA) rating is 47
- It has not many (like thousands) shares on social media. But it has very good backlinks of very-known websites and a few pages are really popular on pinterest.
- It drives %40 of its total traffic on organic ways based on alexa.

I wonder whether if I have any chance of driving some organic traffic to my website. If so, then how? I am no expert on seo. Do backlinks work for copy contents? I know that google doesn't like copy contents even it is a cause for being banned from adsense. However, I'd like to take my chance with some good tutorials on seo in this site if I have any chance.

Copy contents ain't gonna take you far. Go with unique contents instead.
 
spin them, then add like two thousand articles and see what happens. Im sure you can use a social media automation tool like buffer or hootsuite to add each article to a social media page everytime you post one to the website. I think if you did it 2000 times you would get some traffic. It's worth a try to see what happens I dont see why not?
 
Copy contents is a unlikely method but you want to try on that just use some Spinning tools. There are many tools available try on those tools.

My advice is to never copy the content my best tool is Pen and Paper for making good content.
 
Copied contents will not give you permanent results it also hurt your ranking.
Use unique contents on your site to get good ranking.
If you use spun contents Google will ban or penalize your site.
 
Copy content will not give you good result. Chances for ban or penalty may be increase by google to your site.It will hit your ranking level very badly.
So i suggest you not to use copy content.Use unique content manully for good ranking.
 
Just to chim in. Copy content is not going to help you in any way. If you think the niche is profitable, then invest some time or money to get unique content.
 
Copy content will not be helpful to you in anyways.
You can use fresh content otherwise you can spin the copy content which will use for SEO.
It will get good ranks for your site.
You can try article spinner otherwise article re writer.

You aren't going to find many (any?) tutorials on something like this because no one with a working method has any incentive to share. So build some links and see what happens. You probably won't get much traffic, but you may learn a few things that you can scale and turn into decent money, assuming you can dodge an Adsense ban.

That was the answer I was looking for. Thanks for all your responses.

I have actually some social media power to drive traffic via automation. I don't have much time to create unique content or do seo work. As I mentioned previously I've already built the web site in very short time. In addition I started the social media automation in safe limits. If I had a chance of driving some organic traffic then I would buy some seo services, too. After that I will forget them for months. I just want to maximize my income as long as the system keeps alive. It is just like gambling :). This is the reason why I asked such a question in fact.

I have tried both free and premium spin text services but they require to be revised manually. Otherwise, one-click spinning gives very bad results considering that I already have some quality traffic from social media.

Btw, I will probably throw away the domain and the content after months when I have some time to return back to this business. Then, I will do the things right in the way. :)
 
Google will penalize you at any time, if you use the spun contents in your site. Copying of contents from other site is not good to your site. It always harm the google rules. Its an unnatural thing that what google doesn't want forever.

Some contents of your site same as the other site may does not pay attention of the google crawler. But, if all content spun cases, it harm your site at anytime.
 
Yeah. Make money out of your resources while it's still working on.

I think copied contents and backlinks work only for a short period. If Google finds your site with copied contents, your site gets banned or penalized.
Try to Optimize your page and use unique content.
Get some quality backlinks from PBN and authority sites. It will help your site to get good ranking.
 
There is and NEVER has been ANY duplicate content ban, it may get your adsense account banned, but not in the serps, when google finds duplicate content googlebot tries to determine which one is the most relevant for they user, there are several factors that goes into determaining this, but I'm sure you can think of most of them.
 
I do copying contents and it ranks well. It depends on how you do SEO on your website....
