Copy Content Blogs - Affects SEO ?

Hi,

If i use content from other blog websites to my blog with link back to the original source at the end, will it consider as spam? Will it affect seo? Any techniques to do this? Please help me. Thanks in advance.

I don't think this will do any good if you are just continuously doing it word for word, but I could be wrong.

Yes it will be considered as spam and it will affect your rankings negatively. Instead of copying the articles word for word, rewrite them and make them unique or just write your own unique articles from scratch. Duplicate content is a no-no for good rankings and for lasting sites.

rewrite some parts of it, and put the source on your content.

Some viral sites do this.

Google fights against duplicate contents... If you want to rank your site / page on Google, don't copy and paste contents from other websites.

Besides Google, if you generate traffic from other sources toward your site, there is no problem.

But.... DON'T FORGET to pay attention to copyright of other websites. If the owner / webmaster find your website that contain the duplicate content which pasted from him / her website without permission, then he / she will fight you.

If you don't want to write original content but rather base it on existing one, i suggest you write reviews or impressions about other articles on the net. Then you link it to the original text and use parts of the copy from it. But simply copying articles word for word won't do your site any good.

Its pure spam. At least spin the content before you use it on your blog..

Duplicate content was working for me 3 years ago! Now there isn't chance to be in SERPs with this kind of contents
